Chai and Conversation
The Chai and Conversation Project works with communities to increase opportunities to share, connect and learn from people of colour living in regional and rural Victoria.
Chai and Conversation events are hosted by people of colour from the local community, and involve storytelling, question and answer time, conversation, and of course, our signature chai (tea) made with a South Asian blend of herbs and spices.
Chai and Conversation events have been held at schools, markets, workplaces and community centres. We love to partner with local community groups to support them to connect with and have open conversations with people of colour living in their community.
